The Tunisian Ministry of Tourism held a working session aimed at strengthening tourism investments oriented towards alternative accommodation. The revision of the regulatory framework of this activity was discussed during the session.
Indeed, in order to simplify administrative procedures and to mitigate their complexity and thus encourage tourist investments oriented towards alternative accommodation, a revision of the regulatory framework of tourism is imperative.
In a statement, the Ministry of Tourism has stressed the interest of Tunisian and foreign investors in these projects.
Other working sessions will also be held to examine proposals for amendments to this legal and regulatory framework.
It should be noted that the working session was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Tourism Habib Amar, with the participation of the advisor to the Head of Government, and executives from the Ministries of Tourism, Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries.
