Tanzania: its mining resource potential continues to shine in the world

Tanzania is among the top ten countries receiving foreign investment in Africa. It received USD 1.1 billion in investment in 2019. UNCTAD estimates that in 2020, foreign investment to sub-Saharan Africa decreased by -11%. The pandemic caused this decrease which is less than the global average.
